For most Pakistan BISE boards, FSc / FA / ICS Part 1 (11th class / HSSC Part 1) is out of 550 marks. The combined HSSC Part 1 + Part 2 total is 1100 marks. A few boards use slightly different totals — use the custom total field if your board is different.
Use the formula: Percentage = (Obtained Marks / Total Marks) x 100. For 550 marks total, divide your obtained marks by 550 and multiply by 100. Example: 440 / 550 x 100 = 80%.
Students must score at least 33% overall and at least 33% in each subject to pass HSSC Part 1. On a 550 total, the minimum passing marks are 182.
Grade A1 (Outstanding) is awarded at 80% and above. A is 70-79%, B is 60-69%, C is 50-59%, D is 40-49%, E is 33-39%, and F is below 33%. These thresholds match HSSC Part 2 and SSC.
Yes. The percentage formula is identical for every Inter Part 1 group — Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Computer Science, General Science, Arts and Commerce. Just enter your total obtained marks and the correct total for your board.
Inter Part 1 marks are not used directly for university merit, but a high Part 1 percentage is a strong predictor of overall Inter result. Many entry-test prep institutes use Part 1 as the baseline target.
